narmadātaṭamāśritya nivasanti jitendriyāḥ | tapaḥsvādhyāyaniratā japahomaparāyaṇāḥ

Translation

നർമ്മദാതീരത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് അവർ ജിതേന്ദ്രിയരായി അവിടെ വസിക്കുന്നു—തപസ്സിലും സ്വാധ്യായത്തിലും നിരതരായി, ജപവും ഹോമവും പരായണമായി അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നു.
