क्षमावन्तः प्रजावन्तो महर्षिभिरलंकृताः । इत्येवं ब्रह्मपुत्राश्च सत्यवन्तो महामते
kṣamāvantaḥ prajāvanto maharṣibhiralaṃkṛtāḥ | ityevaṃ brahmaputrāśca satyavanto mahāmate
ഓ മഹാമതേ! ഇവർ ബ്രഹ്മപുത്രന്മാർ—ക്ഷമാശീലർ, പ്രജാവന്തർ (ശിഷ്യപരമ്പരയിൽ സമൃദ്ധർ), മഹർഷിത്വംകൊണ്ട് അലങ്കൃതർ; സ്വഭാവത്തിൽ സത്യനിഷ്ഠർ.
