tadāprabhṛti te sarve brāhmaṇā dhanavarjitāḥ | śāpadoṣeṇa kauberyāṃ saṃjātā duḥkhabhājanāḥ

Translation

ആ സമയത്തുനിന്ന് അവർ എല്ലാവരും ധനരഹിതരായ ബ്രാഹ്മണരായി; ആ ശാപദോഷം മൂലം കുബേരന്റെ മേഖലയിലവർ ദുഃഖത്തിന്റെ പാത്രങ്ങളായി മാറി.
