तं दृष्ट्वा विनता रूपमश्वं सर्वत्र पाण्डुरम् । अथ तां कद्रूमवोचत्सा पश्य पश्य वरानने
taṃ dṛṣṭvā vinatā rūpamaśvaṃ sarvatra pāṇḍuram | atha tāṃ kadrūmavocatsā paśya paśya varānane
സർവ്വത്ര പാണ്ഡുരമായ ആ അശ്വത്തെ കണ്ടു വിനത അതിന്റെ രൂപം ദർശിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ കദ്രൂ അവളോട്—“കാണുക, കാണുക, ഹേ സുമുഖീ!” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
