व्यासरूपं विभुः कृत्वा संहरेत्स युगे युगे । अष्टलक्षप्रमाणे तु द्वापरे द्वापरे सदा
vyāsarūpaṃ vibhuḥ kṛtvā saṃharetsa yuge yuge | aṣṭalakṣapramāṇe tu dvāpare dvāpare sadā
സർവ്വശക്തനായ പ്രഭു യുഗം യുഗമായി വ്യാസരൂപം ധരിച്ചു അതിനെ സമാഹരിച്ചു ക്രമീകരിക്കുന്നു. ഓരോ ദ്വാപരയുഗത്തിലും അതിന്റെ അളവ് എപ്പോഴും എട്ട് ലക്ഷം (ശ്ലോക/മാത്ര) ആയി നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
