स भन्दना उदियर्ति प्रजावतीर्विश्वायुर्विश्वाः सुभरा अहर्दिवि । ब्रह्म प्रजावद्रयिमश्वपस्त्यं पीत इन्दविन्द्रमस्मभ्यं याचतात् ॥
sá bhandánā úd iyarti prajā́vatīr viśvā́yur víśvāḥ subhárā́ ahardiví | bráhma prajā́vad rayím aśvápastyaṃ pītá indav índram asmábhyaṃ yācatāt ||
അവൻ ആനന്ദങ്ങളെ ഉയർത്തുന്നു—പ്രജാവതീ, വിശ്വായു, അഹർദിവി സുഭരാഃ—പകലും രാത്രിയും സഫലധാരിണികൾ—ആകുന്നവയായി. ഇന്ദു പാനം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ, അവൻ ഇന്ദ്രനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച്, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രജയോടുകൂടിയ ബ്രഹ്മ—മന്ത്രശക്തിയുടെ വാക്ക്—ഉം, അശ്വപസ്ത്യം—യാത്രയിൽ വേഗശക്തികൾ നൽകുന്ന—റയി (സമൃദ്ധി) യും ദാനം ചെയ്യുമാറാകട്ടെ.
