Sukta 9.107
आ हर्यतो अर्जुने अत्के अव्यत प्रियः सूनुर्न मर्ज्यः । तमीं हिन्वन्त्यपसो यथा रथं नदीष्वा गभस्त्योः ॥
ā́ haryató árjune átké avyata priyáḥ sūnúr ná márjyaḥ | tám īṃ hinvanty apáso yáthā ráthaṃ nadī́ṣv ā́ gábhastyoḥ ||
പ്രകാശമുള്ള ഹരിത-താമ്രവർണ്ണ ഛന്നി (അത്ക) മേൽ പ്രിയനായ സോമൻ—പുത്രനെപ്പോലെ—നെയ്തെടുത്തതുപോലെ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു; അവൻ മർജ്യൻ, ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടാനും സജ്ജനാകാനും യോഗ്യൻ. പ്രവർത്തനശക്തികൾ (അപസഃ) അവനെ രഥത്തെ ഉന്തുന്നതുപോലെ മുന്നോട്ട് പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നദികളുടെ പ്രവാഹപഥങ്ങളിലൂടെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി, സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന ഇരുകൈകളായ ഗഭസ്ത്യോയിൽ അവനെ എത്തിക്കുന്നു.
