सकृद्ध द्यौरजायत सकृद्भूमिरजायत । पृश्न्या दुग्धं सकृत्पयस्तदन्यो नानु जायते ॥
Transliteration
sakṛ́d dha dyáur ajāyata sakṛ́d bhū́mir ajāyata | pṛ́śnyā dugdháṃ sakṛ́t páyas tád anyó nā́nu jāyate ||
Translation
ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രമേ ദ്യൗ ജനിച്ചുള്ളൂ, ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രമേ ഭൂമി ജനിച്ചുള്ളൂ; പൃശ്നിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രമേ പോഷകമായ ക്ഷീരം ദോഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടുള്ളൂ. ആ ആദി-പ്രസവം മറ്റൊരിടത്ത് വീണ്ടും ജനിക്കുന്നില്ല—സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ ഏകാധാരമായി അത് നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
