Sukta 6.28
इन्द्रो यज्वने पृणते च शिक्षत्युपेद्ददाति न स्वं मुषायति । भूयोभूयो रयिमिदस्य वर्धयन्नभिन्ने खिल्ये नि दधाति देवयुम् ॥
índro yájvane pṛṇaté ca śíkṣaty upéd dadāti ná sváṃ muṣāyati | bhū́yo-bhūyo rayím íd asya várdhayann abhínne khilyé ní dadhāti devayúm ||
ഇന്ദ്രൻ യജമാനനെ—നൽകുന്നവനെയും നിറയ്ക്കുന്നവനെയും—ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; സമീപത്തേക്ക് വന്ന് ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഒരാളുടെ സ്വന്തം അവൻ കവർന്നെടുക്കുന്നില്ല. വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും അവന്റെ റയി (സമ്പത്ത്) വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഒടിയാത്ത തുറന്ന നിലത്തിൽ ദേവയു (ദേവാന്വേഷി)യെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നു.
