Transliteration

kathā́ mahé puṣṭim-bharā́ya pūṣṇé kád rudrā́ya su-mákhāya havir-dé | kád víṣṇava urú-gāyāya réto brávaḥ kád agne śárave bṛhatyái ||

Translation

പുഷ്ടി വഹിക്കുന്ന മഹാനായ പൂഷണനോട് ഞാൻ എങ്ങനെ സംസാരിക്കും? സുസംസ്കൃത യജ്ഞമുള്ള, ഹവിർദാതാവായ രുദ്രനോട് എന്ത് പറയും? വിശാല പാദങ്ങളുള്ള ഉരുഗായ വിഷ്ണുവിനോട് ഏതു ബീജ-വചനം (രേതഃ) ഉച്ചരിക്കും? ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ദൂരേ പറക്കുന്ന ശര (അമ്പ്)നോട്—വിശാലയായ ബൃഹതിയോട്—നീ എന്ത് പറയും?
