Sukta 3.54
सदा सुगः पितुमाँ अस्तु पन्था मध्वा देवा ओषधीः सं पिपृक्त । भगो मे अग्ने सख्ये न मृध्या उद्रायो अश्यां सदनं पुरुक्षोः ॥
sadā́ su-gáḥ pitu-mā́m̐ astu pánthā mádhvā devā́ oṣádhīḥ sáṃ pipṛkta | bhágo me agne sakhyé ná mṛdhyā údrāyo aśyāṃ sádanaṃ puru-kṣóḥ ||
എപ്പോഴും സുഗ—സുലഭമായ, സുപ്പഥ—മാർഗ്ഗവും, പിതുമാൻ—സത്യപോഷണത്തിൽ സമൃദ്ധമായ—പാതയും ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ. മധുവോടെ, ഹേ ദേവന്മാരേ, ഓഷധീഃ—ഔഷധീയ ശക്തികളെ—ഞങ്ങളിലൊത്തു ചേർക്കുവിൻ. ഹേ അഗ്നേ, എനിക്ക് ഭഗരൂപനായി, സഖ്യത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കലും പിഴയരുതേ; ഞാൻ ഉദ്രായ—ഉന്നതിയിലേറി—പുരുക്ഷോഃയുടെ വിശാല സദനം പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെ.
