द्रवतां त उषसा वाजयन्ती अग्ने वातस्य पथ्याभिरच्छ । यत्सीमञ्जन्ति पूर्व्यं हविर्भिरा वन्धुरेव तस्थतुर्दुरोणे ॥

Transliteration

dráv atāṃ ta uṣásā vājáyantī agne vā́tasya pathyā́bhir áccha | yát sīm añjánti pū́rvyaṃ havírbhir ā́ vandhúreva tasthatúr duroṇé ||

Translation

ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഉഷസ്സും വാജയന്തീ (ബലം/വാജം നൽകുന്ന ശക്തി)യും വാതത്തിന്റെ പഥങ്ങളിലൂടെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വേഗത്തിൽ വരട്ടെ. അവർ ഹവിഷുകളാൽ നിന്നെ—പുരാതനനെ—അഞ്ജനം/അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ, അവർ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ രഥത്തിന്റെ വന്ധുരത്തിൽ കെട്ടിയ കുതിരകളെപ്പോലെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
