Sukta 2.33
हवीमभिर्हवते यो हविर्भिरव स्तोमेभी रुद्रं दिषीय । ऋदूदरः सुहवो मा नो अस्यै बभ्रुः सुशिप्रो रीरधन्मनायै ॥
havī́mabhir hávate yó havírbhir áva stómebhī rudráṃ diṣī́ya | ṛdū́daraḥ su-hávo mā́ no asyái babhrúḥ su-śípro rīradhat manā́yai ||
ഹവിസ്സുകളാൽ രുദ്രനെ ആഹ്വാനിക്കുന്നവൻ, സ്തോത്രങ്ങളാലും അർപ്പണങ്ങളാലും അവനെ സേവിക്കുന്നവൻ—ദൃഢോദരൻ, സുഹവ (എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ആഹ്വാനിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന) രുദ്രൻ ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ ഹാനിക്കരുതേ. ഭഭ്രു (താമ്രവർണ്ണൻ), സുശിപ്ര (സുന്ദര അധരങ്ങളുള്ളവൻ) നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സിനോടും സംकल्पത്തോടും മൃദുവായി പ്രസന്നനാകട്ടെ.
