Sukta 2.25
इन्धानो अग्निं वनवद्वनुष्यतः कृतब्रह्मा शूशुवद्रातहव्य इत् । जातेन जातमति स प्र सर्सृते यंयं युजं कृणुते ब्रह्मणस्पतिः ॥
índhāno agníṃ vanavad vanuṣyatáḥ kṛtá-brahmā śūśuvad rātá-havya ít | jāténa jātám áti sá prá sarsṛte yaṃ-yáṃ yújaṃ kṛṇuté bráhmaṇas-pátiḥ ||
അഗ്നിയെ ജ്വലിപ്പിച്ച് അവൻ ആരാധകനുവേണ്ടി വിജയം നേടുന്നു; ബ്രഹ്മ (വാണി) രൂപപ്പെടുത്തി അവൻ ഉഗ്രതേജസ്സോടെ വളരുന്നു, ഹവ്യം സ്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവൻ. ജനിച്ചതിനാൽ ജനിച്ചതിനെ അതിക്രമിച്ച് അവൻ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുന്നു; ഓരോ യുജനെയും (യോക്ക്-സഹചാരിയെ) യുക്തമാക്കുന്നു—കർമ്മത്തിനായി ശക്തികളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ബ്രഹ്മണസ്പതി.
