यज्ञेयज्ञे स मर्त्यो देवान्त्सपर्यति । यः सुम्नैर्दीर्घश्रुत्तम आविवासत्येनान् ॥
Transliteration
yajñeyajñe sa martyo devān saparyati | yaḥ sumnair dīrghaśruttama āvivāsaty enān ||
Translation
യജ്ഞത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ യജ്ഞത്തിൽ ആ മർത്ത്യൻ ദേവന്മാരെ സത്യത്തോടെ സേവിച്ചു-പൂജിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ സുമ്നങ്ങൾ (കൃപാ-അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ) മൂലം അവൻ ദീർഘശ്രുത്തമൻ—ദൂരത്തോളം കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ—ആകുന്നു; വിശ്വസ്തമായ സ്വാഗത-ആവാഹനത്തിലൂടെ അവരെ നിരന്തരം ഇവിടെ സന്നിഹിതരാക്കുന്നു.
