पयस्वतीरोषधयः पयस्वन्मामकं वचः । अपां पयस्वदित्पयस्तेन मा सह शुन्धत ॥
Transliteration
páyasvatīr óṣadhayaḥ páyasvan māmakáṃ vácaḥ | apā́ṃ páyasvád ít páyas téna mā sahá śundhata ||
Translation
ഹേ പയസ്വതീ ഔഷധികളേ, എന്റെ വചനം പയസ്വാൻ—ക്ഷീരസമൃദ്ധം—ആക്കുവിൻ; അപാം പയസ്വത്—ജലങ്ങളുടെ പോഷക പയസ്സും—ആ പയസ്സുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ എന്നെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുവിൻ. (എന്റെ) വാണി പോഷക മാധുര്യത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും വാഹികയാകട്ടെ.
