Transliteration
mítraṃ húve pūtá-dakṣaṃ váruṇaṃ ca riśā́dasam | dhíyaṃ ghṛtā́cīṃ sā́dhantā ||
Translation
ഞാൻ മിത്രനെ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു—പൂതദക്ഷൻ, ശുദ്ധവും നിർമലവുമായ ദക്ഷമുള്ളവൻ; വരുണനെയും—രിശാദസ്, ഹാനിയെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ. അവർ നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ ഘൃതാചീ ധിയെ—പ്രകാശമുള്ള ഘൃതംപോലെ ഒഴുകുന്ന, നേരും ശുദ്ധവുമായ ചിന്താ-പ്രേരണയെ—സാധിപ്പിച്ചു പൂർത്തിയാക്കട്ടെ.
