जेता नृभिरिन्द्रः पृत्सु शूरः श्रोता हवं नाधमानस्य कारोः । प्रभर्ता रथं दाशुष उपाक उद्यन्ता गिरो यदि च त्मना भूत् ॥

Transliteration

jétā nṛ́bhir índraḥ pṛtsú śū́raḥ śrótā hávaṃ nā́dhamānasya kāróḥ | prá-bhartā ráthaṃ dā́śuṣa upāká udyántā gíro yádi ca tmánā bhū́t ||

Translation

മനുഷ്യരോടുള്ള യുദ്ധങ്ങളിൽ ഇന്ദ്രൻ—ശൂരൻ—വിജയിയാണ്; പരിശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ഗായക-കാരുവിന്റെ ഹവം അവൻ കേൾക്കുന്നു. സമീപത്തുള്ള ദാനശീലനായ യജമാനനുവേണ്ടി അവൻ രഥത്തെ മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു—സ്തുതിവചനങ്ങൾ ഉയരുമ്പോൾ, അവൻ തന്റെ സ്വശക്തിയാൽ അങ്ങനെ ആയാൽ.
