त्वं धुनिरिन्द्र धुनिमतीॠणोरपः सीरा न स्रवन्तीः । प्र यत्समुद्रमति शूर पर्षि पारया तुर्वशं यदुं स्वस्ति ॥
tváṃ dhúnir indra dhúni-matīḥ ṛṇór apáḥ sīrā́ na srávantīḥ | prá yát samudrám áti śūra párṣi pārā́ya turváśaṃ yádum svastí ||
നീ ധുനിഃ, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ—കുലുക്കുന്നവൻ; സീരാ (ഉഴവിന്റെ വരകൾ) പോലെ ഒഴുകുന്ന ധുനിമതീ ജലധാരകളെ നീ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. നീ, ഹേ ശൂരാ, വീരനെ സമുദ്രത്തിനപ്പുറം കൊണ്ടുപോകുമ്പോൾ, തുർവശനും യദുവിനെയും സ്വസ്തി—ക്ഷേമത്തിൽ—പാരാക്കുക.
