न नूनमस्ति नो श्वः कस्तद्वेद यदद्भुतम् । अन्यस्य चित्तमभि संचरेण्यमुताधीतं वि नश्यति ॥

ná nūnám ásti nó śváḥ kás tád veda yád ádbhutam | anyásya cittám abhí sáṃcareṇyam utā́dhītaṃ ví naśyati ||

ഇപ്പോൾ അല്ല, നാളെയും അല്ല—ആ അത്ഭുതത്തെ ആര് അറിയും? മറ്റൊരാളുടെ ചിത്തം സഞ്ചരിക്കാവുന്ന ഒരു നിലംപോലെ തന്നെയാണെങ്കിലും, പഠിച്ചതും അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാകാം. അതിനാൽ അന്വേഷകൻ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ സ്ഥിരമായ ഋത (സത്യ-ക്രമം)ത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ; മനസ്സിന്റെ ചഞ്ചല കളിയിൽ അല്ല.
