Sukta 1.161
दिवा यान्ति मरुतो भूम्याग्निरयं वातो अन्तरिक्षेण याति । अद्भिर्याति वरुणः समुद्रैर्युष्माँ इच्छन्तः शवसो नपातः ॥
divā́ yānti marúto bhū́myā agnír ayáṃ vātó antárikṣeṇa yāti | adbhír yāti váruṇaḥ samudráir yuṣmā́n ícchantaḥ śávasaḥ napātaḥ ||
പകൽ മരുത്തുകൾ പോകുന്നു; ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ അഗ്നി പോകുന്നു; ഈ വായു അന്തരിക്ഷമാർഗ്ഗം സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു. ജലങ്ങളിലൂടെ, സമുദ്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ വരുണൻ പോകുന്നു—ഹേ ശവസോ നപാതഃ (ശക്തിയുടെ സന്താനങ്ങളേ), നിങ്ങളെ തേടി: സർവ്വ ദൈവിക ഊർജ്ജങ്ങളും പരിപൂർണ്ണ കർമ്മകാരന്മാരിലേക്കു ഏകീകരിക്കുന്നു.
