स नो नव्येभिर्वृषकर्मन्नुक्थैः पुरां दर्तः पायुभिः पाहि शग्मैः । दिवोदासेभिरिन्द्र स्तवानो वावृधीथा अहोभिरिव द्यौः ॥
sá no návyebhir vṛṣa-karman nuktháih purā́ṃ dartāḥ pāyúbhiḥ pāhi śágmaiḥ | divodā́sebhiḥ indra stávāno vāvṛdhīthā́ ahóbhir-iva dyáuḥ ||
ഹേ വൃഷകർമൻ (കർമങ്ങളിൽ വൃഷഭൻ) ഇന്ദ്രാ! നമ്മുടെ നവ്യ ഉക്ത്ഥങ്ങളാൽ—ഹേ പുരാം ദർത്തഃ (ദുർഗ്ഗഭേദകൻ)—നിന്റെ പായുഭിഃ (രക്ഷോപായങ്ങൾ)യും ശഗ്മൈഃ (പ്രബല സംരക്ഷണങ്ങൾ)യും കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളെ കാത്തുകൊൾക. ദിവോദാസന്മാർ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നവനേ, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നീ കൂടുതൽ കൂടുതൽ വർദ്ധിക്ക—ദ്യൗഃ (ആകാശം) തന്റെ അഹോഭിഃ (ദിവസങ്ങളാൽ) വിശാലമാകുന്നതുപോലെ.
