ओ त्ये नर इन्द्रमूतये गुर्नू चित्तान्त्सद्यो अध्वनो जगम्यात् । देवासो मन्युं दासस्य श्चम्नन्ते न आ वक्षन्त्सुविताय वर्णम् ॥
ó tye nárā índram ūtáye gúr nū́ cít tā́n sadyó ádhvano jagamyāt | devā́so manyúṃ dā́sasya ścamnán te ná ā́ vakṣan suvitā́ya várṇam ||
ഓ ആ വീരന്മാർ സഹായത്തിനായി ഇന്ദ്രനെ വിളിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴുതന്നെ അവൻ വഴിയിൽ നിന്നു നേരെ അവരിലേക്കു വരട്ടെ. ദേവന്മാർ ദാസന്റെ മന്യു (ക്രോധം) ചതച്ചൊതുക്കി, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സുവിതായ—സുഖകരമായ ഗമനത്തിനായി—തേജസ്സുള്ള വർണം, ശുഭപ്രകാശം കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ; ഋതത്തിന്റെ ശരിയായ ഗതിക്കുള്ള തുറന്ന പാത നൽകട്ടെ.
