तेनमामद्यसम्युक्तंरथस्थमिहसम्युगे ।।।।प्रतीयात्कोऽद्यमामाजौसाक्षादपिपुरन्दरः ।
tena mām adya saṁyuktaṁ rathastham iha saṁyuge |
pratīyāt ko ’dya mām ājau sākṣād api purandaraḥ ||
ഇന്ന് ആ കവചം ധരിച്ച്, രഥസ്ഥനായി ഈ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ—ഇന്ന് रणഭൂമിയിൽ എന്നെ ആരാണ് നേരിടുക? പ്രത്യക്ഷമായിട്ടും പുരന്ദരൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) പോലും അല്ല.
