यदिसत्स्यात्सतांमुख्यनासत्स्यत्तवकिञ्चन ।त्वयायदीदृशंप्राप्तंतस्मात्सन्नोपपद्यते ।।6.83.25।।

yadi sat syāt satāṃ mukhya nāsat syāt tava kiñcana | tvayā yad īdṛśaṃ prāptaṃ tasmāt san nopapadyate ||6.83.25||

ഹേ സതാംമുഖ്യാ (സജ്ജനങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠാ)! സത് യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ഫലങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, നിനക്കു ചെറിയതെങ്കിലും അശുഭം സംഭവിക്കരുതായിരുന്നു; നീ ഇങ്ങനെ ദുഃഖം അനുഭവിച്ചതിനാൽ ‘സത്’ സ്ഥിരനിയമമായി നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല.
