Hanumān Reports Sītā’s ‘Slaying’; Rāma Collapses; Lakṣmaṇa’s Counter-Discourse on Dharma and Artha
सौम्यनूनंहनुमताकृतंकर्मसुदुष्करम् ।श्रूयते च यथाभीमस्सुमहावायुधस्वनः ।।6.83.2।।
saumya nūnaṃ hanumatā kṛtaṃ karma suduṣkaram |
śrūyate ca yathā bhīmaḥ sumahā vāyudha-svanaḥ ||6.83.2||
ഹേ സൗമ്യനേ! നിശ്ചയമായും ഹനുമാൻ അത്യന്തം ദുഷ്കരമായ കര്മ്മം സാധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; കാരണം ഭീകരമായ മഹായുധങ്ങളുടെ ഗർജനസദൃശമായ നാദം കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
" As animate and inanimate beings are seen experiencing joy at present, righteousness is not the cause of joy, I think so."
