राघवश्चापिविपुलंतंराक्षसवनौकसाम् ।श्रुत्वासङ्ग्रामनिर्घोषंजाम्बवन्तमुवाच ह ।।6.83.1।।

rāghavaś cāpi vipulaṃ taṃ rākṣasavanaukasām | śrutvā saṅgrāmanirghoṣaṃ jāmbavantam uvāca ha ||

രാക്ഷസന്മാരും വനവാസികളായ വാനരന്മാരും തമ്മിലുള്ള യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ മഹാനാദം കേട്ട രാഘവൻ ശ്രീരാമൻ ജാംബവാനെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു പറഞ്ഞു।
