इन्द्रजित्-हनूमद्-युद्धं तथा निकुम्भिलायां होमः

वानरैसैर्महाभीमैर्घोररूपानिशाचराः ।।।।वीर्यादभिहतावृक्षैर्व्यचेष्टन्तरणक्षितौ ।

vānarais tair mahābhīmair ghōrarūpā niśācarāḥ | vīryād abhihatā vṛkṣair vyacēṣṭanta raṇakṣitau ||

അത്യന്തം ഭീകരരായ വാനരയോദ്ധാക്കൾ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളാൽ പ്രഹരിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ഘോരരൂപികളായ നിശാചര രാക്ഷസർ ശക്തിയായി പരിക്കേറ്റ് യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ പുളഞ്ഞ് വീണു.
