इन्द्रजितो यज्ञानुष्ठानं अन्तर्धानं च
Indrajit’s Rite and the Invisible Assault
अद्यनिर्वानरमुर्वींहत्वारामंसलक्ष्मणम् ।करिष्येपरमांप्रीतिमित्युक्त्वान्तरधीयत ।।।।
adya nirvānaram urvīṃ hatvā rāmaṃ salakṣmaṇam | kariṣye paramāṃ prītim ity uktvāntaradhīyata ||6.80.18||
“ഇന്ന് ലക്ഷ്മണനോടുകൂടെ രാമനെ വധിച്ച്, ഭൂമിയെ വാനരരഹിതമാക്കി, എന്റെ പിതാവിന് പരമാനന്ദം നൽകും”—എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് അവൻ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ നിന്ന് അന്തർധാനം ചെയ്തു.
