युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

त्वामेवैकंमहाबाहुंचापहस्तमरिन्दमम् ।।।।त्रिदशानातिवर्तन्तेजितेन्द्रियमिवाधयः ।विक्रमस्वमहाबुद्धे कर्माणिममपश्यतः ।।।।

tvām evaikaṃ mahābāhuṃ cāpahastam arindamam | tridaśā nātivartante jitendriyam ivādhayaḥ | vikramasva mahābuddhe karmāṇi mama paśyataḥ ||

മഹാബാഹുവേ, ധനുസ്സുഹസ്തനേ, അരിന്ദമനേ—നീ ഒരുത്തൻ മാത്രം; ഇന്ദ്രിയജിതനെ വ്യാധികൾ കീഴടക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ദേവന്മാർക്കും നിന്നെ മറികടക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് മഹാബുദ്ധേ, എന്റെ കണ്ണുമുമ്പിൽ നിന്റെ വിക്രമവും കർമ്മങ്ങളും പ്രകടിപ്പിക്ക!
