औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb
Bearing Mountain
च्चिदार्यशरैस्तीक्ष्णैर्नप्राणाध्वंसितास्तव ।।6.74.15।।विभीषणवचश्श्रुत्वाजाम्बवानृक्षपुङ्गवः ।कृच्छ्रादभ्युग्दिरन्वाक्यमिदंवचनमब्रवीत् ।।6.74.16।।
vibhīṣaṇavacaḥ śrutvā jāmbavān ṛkṣapuṅgavaḥ |
kṛcchrād abhyudgiran vākyam idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||6.74.16||
വിഭീഷണന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട്, കരടികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ ജാംബവാൻ അത്യന്തം പ്രയാസത്തോടെ വാക്കുകൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ച് ഇങ്ങനെ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
"Great hero, Vibheeshana! I recognise you by your voice. Pierced with sharp arrows I am not able to see you."
