The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
मभ्युपेत्याद्भुतघोरवीर्यं स कुम्भकर्णोयुधिवानरेन्द्रम् ।जहारसुग्रीवमभिप्रगृह्ययथानिलोमेघमतिप्रचण्डः ।।।।
abhyupetya adbhuta-ghora-vīryaṃ sa kumbhakarṇo yudhi vānarendram |
jahāra sugrīvam abhipragṛhya yathā anilo megham atipracandaḥ ||
അദ്ഭുതവും ഭയങ്കരവുമായ വീര്യശാലിയായ കുംഭകർണൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ വാനരരാജന്റെ അടുത്തെത്തി; സുഗ്രീവനെ പിടിച്ചുയർത്തി, അതിപ്രചണ്ഡമായ കാറ്റ് മേഘത്തെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതുപോലെ അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
