The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
तौतस्यपादौप्रदिशोदिशश्चगिरेर्गुहाश्चैवमहार्णवं च ।लङ्कां च सेनांकपिराक्षसानांविनादयन्तौविनिपेततुश्च ।।।।
tau tasya pādau pradiśo diśaś ca girer guhāś caiva mahārṇavaṃ ca | laṅkāṃ ca senāṃ kapirākṣasāṇāṃ vinādayantau vinipetatuś ca ||
അവന്റെ ഇരുകാലുകളും മഹാധ്വനിയോടെ വീണു; ദിക്കുകളും ഉപദിക്കുകളും മുഴങ്ങി, പർവ്വതഗുഹകളിലും മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിലും വരെ പ്രതിധ്വനിച്ചു; ലങ്കയും വാനര-രാക്ഷസ സൈന്യങ്ങളും ആ ഘോഷത്തിൽ വിറച്ചു.
