कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
ततस्तुरक्षःक्षतजावलिप्तंवित्रासनंदेवमहचमूनाम् ।व्याविध्यतंमुद्गरमुग्रवेगंनिद्रावयामासचमूंम् ।।।।
tatas tu rakṣaḥ kṣatajāvaliptaṃ vitrāsanaṃ devamahācamūnām | vyāvidhya taṃ mudgaram ugravegaṃ nidrāvayām āsa camūm ||
പിന്നീട് മുറിവുകളുടെ രക്തത്തിൽ ലിപ്തനായി ദേവന്മാരുടെ മഹാസൈന്യങ്ങൾക്കും ഭീതിജനകനായ ആ രാക്ഷസൻ ഉഗ്രവേഗത്തിൽ ഗദ ചുഴറ്റി വാനരസേനയെ ചിതറിച്ച് തളർത്തി വീഴ്ത്തി.
