Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle
शङ्खदुन्दुभिनिर्घोषैस्सैन्यैश्चापिवरायुथैः ।तंगजैश्चतुरङ्गैश्चस्यन्दनैश्चाम्बुदस्वनैः ।।।।अनुजग्मुर्महात्मानं रथिनो रथिनां वरम् ।
śaṅkha-dundubhi-nirghoṣaiḥ sainyaiś cāpi varāyudhaiḥ |
taṃ gajaiś caturaṅgaiś ca syandanaiś cāmbuda-svanaiḥ ||6.65.34||

ശംഖദുന്ദുഭികളുടെ ഘോഷത്തിനിടയിൽ, ശ്രേഷ്ഠായുധധാരികളായ സൈന്യത്തോടൊപ്പം, ആനകളും കുതിരകളും, മേഘഗർജ്ജനസദൃശധ്വനിയുള്ള രഥങ്ങളുമായി—രഥികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ ആ മഹാത്മാവിനെ രഥയോദ്ധാക്കൾ അനുഗമിച്ചു.
