Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle
सर्पैरुष्ट्रैःखरैरश्वैस्सिम्हद्विपमृगद्विजैः ।अनुजग्मुश्चतंघोरंकुम्भकर्णंमहाबलम् ।।।।
sarpair uṣṭraiḥ kharair aśvaiḥ siṃha-dvipa-mṛga-dvijaiḥ |
anujagmuś ca taṃ ghoraṃ kumbhakarṇaṃ mahābalam ||6.65.35||
സർപ്പങ്ങൾ, ഒട്ടകങ്ങൾ, കഴുതകൾ, കുതിരകൾ, സിംഹങ്ങൾ, ആനകൾ, മൃഗങ്ങൾ, പക്ഷികൾ എന്നിവയിൽ ആരൂഢരായി അവർ ഭയങ്കരനും മഹാബലവാനുമായ കുംഭകർണനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.
