कुम्भकर्णोपदेशः

Kumbhakarna’s Counsel and War-Boast to Ravana

यथागमं च योराजासमयंविचिकीर्षति ।बुध्यतेसचिवान्बध्यासुहृदश्चानुपश्यति ।।6.63.8।।

yathāgamaṃ ca yo rājā samayaṃ vicikīrṣati |

budhyate sacivān buddhyā suhṛdaś cānupaśyati ||6.63.8||

ആഗമപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം യുക്തമായ സമയത്ത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുവാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന രാജാവ്, വിവേകബുദ്ധിയാല്‍ മന്ത്രിമാരെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു; സുഹൃത്തുകളെയും സദ്ഭാവികളെയും ദൃഷ്ടിയില്‍ വെക്കുന്നു—അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് കര്‍ത്തവ്യം അറിയുന്നവന്‍.
