योवज्रपातशनिसन्निपातान्नचक्षुभेनापिचचालराजा ।सरामबाणाभिहतोभृशार्तश्चचालचापंचमुमोचवीरः ।।6.59.139।।
yo vajrapātaśani-sannipātān na cakṣubhena api cacāla rājā |
sa rāma-bāṇābhihato bhṛśārtaś cacāla cāpaṃ ca mumoca vīraḥ ||6.59.139||
വജ്രപാതവും ഇടിമിന്നലിന്റെ ഘോരാഘാതവും വന്നാലും കണ്ണുപോലും ഇളക്കാത്ത ആ രാജാവ്, രാമബാണം കൊണ്ടേറ്റപ്പോൾ അത്യന്തം വേദനിച്ചു കുലുങ്ങി; വീരൻ തളർന്ന് കൈയിൽ നിന്നു ധനുസ്സ് വഴുതി വീണു.
