तंविह्वलन्तंप्रसमीक्ष्यरामस्समाददेदीप्तमथार्थचन्द्रम् ।तेनार्कवर्णंसहसाकिरीटंचिच्छेदरक्षोधिपतेर्महात्मा ।।6.59.140।।
taṁ vihvalantaṁ prasamīkṣya rāmaḥ samādade dīptam athārthacandram |
tenārkavarṇaṁ sahasā kirīṭaṁ ciccheda rakṣodhipater mahātmā ||6.59.140||
രാക്ഷസാധിപൻ വിഹ്വലനാകുന്നതു കണ്ട മഹാത്മാവായ രാമൻ ദീപ്തമായ അർദ്ധചന്ദ്രാകാര ബാണം എടുത്തു; അതിനാൽ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ സൂര്യവർണ്ണപ്രഭയുള്ള അവന്റെ കിരീടം ഛേദിച്ചു.
