अकम्पनवधः — The Slaying of Akampana

तान्मृत्युवशमापन्नानकम्पनवंशगतान् ।समीक्ष्यहनुमान्ज्ञातीनुपतस्थेमहाबलः ।।6.56.8।।
tān mṛtyu-vaśam āpannān akampana-vaṃśa-gatān |
samīkṣya hanumān jñātīn upatasthē mahā-balaḥ ||6.56.8||
അകമ്പനൻ മൂലം മരണാധീനരായ തന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളെ കണ്ട മഹാബലനായ ഹനുമാൻ മുന്നോട്ട് ചെന്നു അവർക്കായി നിലകൊണ്ടു.

After the Vānara troops are routed by Akampana’s arrows, Hanumān advances to support them and face Akampana.
