शरबन्धनविलापः
The Lament under the Net of Arrows
येनाद्यबहवोयुद्धेनिहताराक्षसाविनिपातिताः ।तस्यामेवाद्यशूरस्त्वंशेषेविनिहतःपरैः ।।6.49.14।।
yenādya bahavo yuddhe nihatā rākṣasā vinipātitāḥ |
tasyām evādya śūras tvaṃ śeṣe vinihataḥ paraiḥ || 6.49.14 ||
ഇന്ന് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അനേകം രാക്ഷസരെ വധിച്ച് നിലംപതിപ്പിച്ച നീ തന്നേ, അതേ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇന്ന് ശൂരനായി മറ്റുള്ളവരാൽ പ്രഹരിക്കപ്പെട്ട് നിർചേഷ്ടനായി കിടക്കുന്നു.
