चतुश्चत्वारिंशः सर्गः (Sarga 44): निशायुद्धम्, धूलिरुधिरप्रवाहः, इन्द्रजितो मायायुद्धम्
माययासम्वृतस्तत्रमोहयन्राघवौयुधि ।अदृश्यस्सर्वभूतानांकूटयोधीनिशाचरः ।।।।बबन्धशरबन्धेनभ्रातरौरामलक्ष्मणौ ।
māyayā saṃvṛtas tatra mohayan rāghavau yudhi |
adṛśyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ kūṭayodhī niśācaraḥ ||
babandha śarabandhena bhrātarau rāmalakṣmaṇau ||
അവിടെ മായയാൽ മറഞ്ഞ് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഇരുവരായ രാഘവന്മാരെ മോഹിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കും അദൃശ്യനായ കൂറ്റയോധിയായ നിശാചരൻ അമ്പുകളുടെ ബന്ധനമായ ശരബന്ധംകൊണ്ട് സഹോദരന്മാരായ രാമ-ലക്ഷ്മണരെ ബന്ധിച്ചു.
