निकुम्बस्तुरणेनीलंनीलाञ्जनचयप्रभम् ।निर्बिभेदशरैस्तीक्ष्णैःकरैर्मेघमिवांशुमान् ।।6.43.28।।
nikumbhas tu raṇe nīlaṃ nīlāñjanacayaprabham |
nirbhibheda śarais tīkṣṇaiḥ karair megham ivāṃśumān || 6.43.28 ||
യുദ്ധത്തിൽ നികുംഭൻ, നീലാഞ്ജനക്കൂമ്പാരത്തെപ്പോലെ കറുത്ത നീലനെ, തീക്ഷ്ണശരങ്ങളാൽ കുത്തിപ്പൊളിച്ചു; സൂര്യകിരണങ്ങൾ മേഘത്തെ തുളച്ചുകയറുന്നതുപോലെ.
