लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash

पीड्यमानांसधर्मात्मावैदेहीमनुचिन्तयन् ।क्षिप्रमाज्ञापयामासवानरान्द्विषतांवधे ।।।।

pīḍyamānāṃ sa dharmātmā vaidehīm anucintayan |

kṣipram ājñāpayāmāsa vānarān dviṣatāṃ vadhe ||

പീഡിതയായ വൈദേഹിയെ നിരന്തരം അനുസ്മരിച്ച ധർമ്മാത്മാവ്, വൈരിയായ ശത്രുവിനെ വധിക്കുവാൻ വാനരന്മാർക്ക് ക്ഷിപ്രമായി ആജ്ഞ നൽകി.
