लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash

काञ्चनानिप्रमृद्नन्तस्तोरणानिप्लवङ्गमाः ।कैलासशिखराभानिगोपुराणिप्रमथ्यच ।।।।

kāñcanāni pramṛdnantas toraṇāni plavaṅgamāḥ |

kailāsaśikharābhāni gopurāṇi pramathya ca ||

പ്ലവംഗമർ സ്വർണ്ണത്തോരണങ്ങൾ ചവിട്ടിത്തകർത്തു; കൈലാസശിഖരങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തമായ ഗോപുരങ്ങളും തകർത്തു വീഴ്ത്തി.
