ततःसहस्रयूथाश्चकोटीयूथाश्चवानराः ।कोटीशतयुताश्चान्येलङ्कामारुरुहुस्तदा ।।।।

tataḥ sahasrayūthāś ca koṭīyūthāś ca vānarāḥ |

koṭīśatayutāś cānye laṅkām āruruhus tadā ||

Translation

അപ്പോൾ ആയിരം കൂട്ടങ്ങളായും കോടി കൂട്ടങ്ങളായും, മറ്റുചിലർ കോടിശതങ്ങളായും വാനരസേന ലങ്കയിലേക്കു കയറി ചെന്നു.
