लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash
उद्यम्यगिरिशृङ्गाणिशिखराणिमहान्तिच ।तरूंश्चोत्पाट्यविविधांस्तिष्ठन्तिहरियूथपाः ।।।।
udyamya giriśṛṅgāṇi śikharāṇi mahānti ca |
tarūṃś cotpāṭya vividhāṃs tiṣṭhanti hariyūthapāḥ ||
പർവ്വതശൃംഗങ്ങളും മഹത്തായ ശിഖരങ്ങളും ഉയർത്തി, പലവിധ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെ വേരോടെ പിഴുതെടുത്ത്, വാനരയൂഥപതികൾ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി സന്നദ്ധരായി നിലകൊണ്ടു.
