लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash
शिखरैर्विकिरामैनांलङ्कांमुष्टिभिरेववा ।इतिस्मदधिरेसर्वेमनांसिहरियूथपाः ।।।।
śikharair vikirāma enāṃ laṅkāṃ muṣṭibhir eva vā |
iti sma dadhire sarve manāṃsi hariyūthapāḥ ||
എല്ലാ ഹരിയൂഥപന്മാരും ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു: “പർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങൾ പിഴുതെറിഞ്ഞ് ഈ ലങ്കയെ തകർക്കും; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നമ്മുടെ മുഷ്ടികളാൽ തന്നേ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും.”
