शरणागति

धर्मनिर्णयः (Decision on Refuge and Dharma) / Rama’s Vow of Protection and the Acceptance of Vibhishana

अमित्रास्तत्कुलीनाश्चप्रातिदेश्याश्चकीर्तिताः ।व्यसनेषुप्रहर्तारस्तस्मादयमिहागतः ।।।।

amitrās tatkulīnāś ca prātidēśyāś ca kīrtitāḥ | vyasaneṣu prahartāras tasmād ayam ihāgataḥ ||

ശത്രുക്കളും, അതേ വംശത്തിലെവരും, സമീപദേശങ്ങളിലെ രാജാക്കളും പോലും ശത്രുക്കളെന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു; കാരണം ദുരിതകാലത്ത് അവർ ആക്രമിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഈ കാരണത്താൽ അവൻ ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
