Sarga 122
सपुत्रांत्वांत्यजामीतियदुक्ताकेकयीत्वया ।स शापःकेकयींघोरस्सपुत्रां न स्पृशेत्प्रभो ।।।।
saputrāṃ tvāṃ tyajāmi iti yad uktā kaikeyī tvayā |
sa śāpaḥ kaikeyīṃ ghoraḥ saputrāṃ na spṛśet prabho ||
പ്രഭോ! നീ കൈകേയിയോട് ഒരിക്കൽ “പുത്രനോടുകൂടി നിന്നെ ഞാൻ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ട്, ആ ഭയങ്കര ശാപം കൈകേയിയെയും അവളുടെ പുത്രനെയും സ്പർശിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
"O Lord! You had spoken in such a way saying 'I disown a good son and Kaikeyi' and cursed. May that dreadful curse not touch your son and Kaikeyi," said Rama.
